How it all began...

My passion for photography started in high school where I got a lot of different experience capturing family, high school sports, lots of vacation scenery, and pretty much any other project that came my way. I was fascinated with creating images that were beyond the obvious, rich in detail, and necessary to capture. But I was only in high school, without any 'spending money' and seeped in imposter syndrome, I put photography on a shelf (literally).

After moving to Baton Rouge to study at LSU in 2016, I found my husband, Joseph, and my calling to Esthiology. I opened my own business in Denham Springs, called MW Aesthetic, offering facials, lash extensions, waxing, and more. Photography and creativity were always in the back of my mind... I loved creating content for my business and using it to help others.

In 2024, I got the itch. The itch to start taking photos again. We had a lot of vacations planned and so I found myself firing up the camera again. I started getting asked to take photos again and I started getting asked for help with my design skills. Since then, I've designed more than several special occasion invitations or announcements and captured very near and dear to my heart milestones: our first family fishing trip, our first trip to Hawaii, my godchild's birth, my sister-in-law's maternity shoot and more!
